A Power Platform & SharePoint Developer designs, builds, and supports Microsoft 365–based business solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. In federal programs, this role focuses on low‑code application development, workflow automation, collaboration platforms, and data visualization, while operating within security, governance, and compliance constraints such as FISMA, NIST 800‑53, and FedRAMP. These developers typically work with senior developers, architect and collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and mission stakeholders to modernize manual processes and legacy tools.

Senior Power Platform & SharePoint Developer

Core Responsibilities
SharePoint & Collaboration Solutions
- Configure and customize SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, metadata, and permissions
- Support document management, records management, and collaboration use cases
- Assist with basic SharePoint migrations and site modernizations
- Build Power Apps (Canvas‑focused) tied to SharePoint or Dataverse data sources
- Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and task automation
- Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for operational visibility
- Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
- Connect to structured data sources (SharePoint, SQL, Excel, Dataverse, APIs)
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, permissions, and data issues
- Follow platform governance, DLP, and security requirements
- Produce technical documentation and user guidance
- Deliver work in Agile / Scrum / SAFe sprint cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years overall experience with Microsoft collaboration or application platforms
- 2 years with SharePoint Online
- 2 years with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- SharePoint Online configuration and permissions
- Power Apps (Canvas), Power Fx
- Power Automate cloud flows
- Power BI reporting
- Familiarity with Dataverse, SQL, or APIs (preferred)
- Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL‑200)
- Power Platform Developer Associate (PL‑400)
- Secret required, Top Secret preferred
