What will you be doing?
Under your own direction and overseen by the Director of Project Management, coordinate all aspects of Action Target, Inc. (ATI) projects.
Some of your day-to-day tasks?
• Define project scope from available project documents (scope, drawings, PO, contracts, etc.)
• Work with internal and external vendors and contractors
• Estimate project costs
• Order materials from ATI ERP modules and outside vendors
• Become extremely familiar with packages and ordering tools
• Red line drawings, review designs, coordinate with architect and customer on best practices for range and HVAC equipment
• Coordinate with ATI shop for accurate due dates and expectations
• Travel to various sites to verify site conditions and coordination meetings as necessary (plan an average of 1 trip every two weeks)
• Be able to access restricted bases and foreign countries (passport)
• Coordinate closely with end users and other trades as necessary at project sites
• Take actions to deal with delays or unforeseen job site issues
• Communicate with Territory Managers about project issues
• Have constant communication with customers to set expectations
• Track costs to meet budget
• Monitor budget and account for any over/under
• Provide updates in various systems for weekly meetings
• Manage invoices from outside vendors to make sure they are processed in a timely manner
• Create project specific scope of works for Installation Department
• Coordinate dates and crew sizes with Installation Department
• Work with sales as assigned on prospective projects to gain accurate margins
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering departments for quality non-standard design and parts
• Under direction of the Director of Project Management, complete tasks as assigned for the betterment of the department
• Create and maintain all necessary project documents
• Verify accuracy of specifications and drawings for project needs
• Coordniate with Accounts Receivable for invoicing
What do you need to be able to do?
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within project management field. PMP certification a plus. International experience is also preferred.
• Computer Skills
• Competency using Word and Excel Office
• Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD and Building Tools, Sharepointe, BI reports, Action Target ERP Modules
