Physical Therapy Aide/Technician – Outpatient Clinic (Part-Time & Full-Time)

Position Details
- Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy
- Schedule: Part-time and full-time positions available; flexible scheduling based on clinic needs
- Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous healthcare, fitness, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- CPR certification (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, organized, and eager to learn
- Ability to assist patients with exercises and remain on your feet for extended periods
Experience
- Experience in a physical therapy, chiropractic, athletic training, medical office, or fitness setting is a plus
- Students pursuing careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, nursing, kinesiology, exercise science, physician assistant studies, or other healthcare fields are encouraged to apply
- Customer service and administrative experience is beneficial
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in preparing patients for treatment
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises under the direction of licensed clinical staff
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment
- Apply hot/cold packs and other non-skilled modalities as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
- Monitor patients during exercise and promptly communicate concerns to the supervising therapist
- Assist with patient flow, scheduling support, and other clinic operations as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinic policies and professional standards
