What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wire Cutter / Production Associate position at Action Personnel?
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join a production team.
In this role, you'll prepare a variety of wires for production by operating cutting and stripping equipment and following detailed work instructions.
What You'll Do- Review work orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Prepare materials for production
- Cut and strip wire according to specifications
- Operate wire-cutting machines, hand tools, and computer equipment
- Inspect materials and finished work for quality and accuracy
- Follow routing instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Deliver completed work to Quality Assurance for inspection
- Identify and report material shortages or quality issues
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Work as part of a team and cross-train in other areas as needed
- Work overtime when required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable using computers and production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and good hand/eye coordination
- Able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Able to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Dependable and punctual with good attendance
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn new processes and equipment
- Frequent repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Good fine-motor skills and hand/eye coordination
