We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to join our production floor team. This is a hands-on testing role — not a lab-based position. You will be responsible for testing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and final product units, diagnosing issues, and troubleshooting failures down to the component level.
This position requires a strong technical background in electronics, keen analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Test printed circuit board assemblies and final product units on the production floor

Troubleshoot failures down to the exact component, using sectionalizing, localizing, and isolating techniques

Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)

Utilize and maintain test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators

Program and configure devices and components using tools such as MPLAB ICD3

Establish communication between devices using COM ports, wireless networks, or wired Ethernet connections

Assemble and disassemble products using standard hand tools

Communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding test results and issues

Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience

A.S. in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, military certification, or equivalent experience

Proven experience troubleshooting electronic devices to the component level

Computer literacy and familiarity with test interfaces and communication protocols
Preferred

Minimum 5 years of hands-on testing and troubleshooting experience in electronics manufacturing
Required Skills

Deep understanding of how transistors, resistors, capacitors, and inductors function within circuits
