We are seeking a skilled and motivated Set-up Coordinator to oversee the training, development, and performance of Set-up Technicians on the production floor. This role ensures that all technical aspects of the mold change process are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies. The Set-up Coordinator will also support process improvements, maintain 5S standards, and serve as a key resource for production managers.
Responsibilities:

Provide daily direction and leadership to Set-up Technicians

Train and onboard new Set-up Technicians, ensuring proper processes are followed

Support continuous skill development of current Set-up Technicians

Maintain 5S standards at presses and auxiliary equipment storage areas

Monitor and recommend necessary supplies and support equipment for production

Collaborate with Production Managers to implement procedures, instructions, and policies that improve efficiency and productivity

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Assist with daily production tasks as needed

Advise on potential new hires and provide input on corrective actions for current staff
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

5 years of experience in an injection molding environment

3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred

Strong leadership, training, and communication skills

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Outlook)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:

Must own your own tools and toolbox

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Able to stand and work on a hard floor surface for an 8-hour shift
