Label Clerk

The Warehouse Label Clerk is responsible for creating, printing, and affixing accurate labels for inventory, shipments, and storage. This role supports the smooth flow of warehouse operations by ensuring proper labeling of items, maintaining records, and assisting with general clerical tasks in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Label Management:

   • Create and print labels for inventory, products, and shipments according to company standards.
   • Ensure all labels are legible, accurate, and applied correctly.

2. Inventory Support:

   • Verify labeled items against inventory lists for accuracy.
   • Assist with organizing and labeling items during inventory audits or restocking.
   •  

3. Record Keeping:

   • Maintain detailed records of labeled items and label usage.
   • Update digital or manual inventory systems as needed.

4. Clerical Support:

   • Assist with preparing reports, filing documents, and other administrative tasks related to warehouse operations.
   • Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure labeling processes meet operational needs.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Follow all safety procedures and company policies during labeling and warehouse tasks.
   • Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged items, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or clerical role preferred.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in using label-making software and office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Must know MS Excel
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
