What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Action Personnel Inc?
We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and functionality of outdoor areas, including lawns, landscaping, and walkways. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds by mowing, trimming, watering, and fertilizing.
- Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor areas.
- Perform general landscaping duties, such as planting and mulching.
- Maintain walkways, parking lots, and outdoor spaces by sweeping, raking, and clearing snow or leaves as needed.
- Operate and maintain lawn care and landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Inspect and repair outdoor furniture, fences, and irrigation systems as necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to operate basic landscaping tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a Valid driver’s license and pass a MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) report.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Requires lifting, bending, walking, and working on your feet for extended periods.
