Lead Maintenance Technician – ManufacturingPay: $29/hour Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 5:00pmJob SummaryThe Lead Maintenance Technician oversees daily maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe, efficient work environment. This role provides technical leadership, mentors maintenance team members, and partners with production leadership to support operational goals.Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred
• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical troubleshooting
• Prior leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of PLCs and electrical systems
• Electrical certification or license a plus
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Proficient with maintenance software and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (75 lbs with assistance)
• Safety-toe shoes required
• Ability to work in a production environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations
• Pass drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize daily maintenance activities to support production schedules
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to maintenance technicians
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance (PMs) on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment breakdowns, including PLC-controlled systems
• Maintain production equipment such as flexographic presses, rewind machines, motors, compressors, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work and downtime analysis
• Support equipment upgrades, facility projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory
• Enforce OSHA, safety, Lockout/Tagout, and EHS compliance standards
• Serve as primary maintenance contact during assigned shift
