Compensation: $52,088 / year

Description

The HeartWAP Coordinator has responsibility for the engaging with SCSC on client outreach, intake and eligibility certification process for the HeartWAP and utility heating programs. Responsibilities include engaging with eligible clients and contractors to deliver heating system replacements and repairs for emergency no-heats and efficiency upgrades.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement client outreach strategy to provide adequate application flow for WAP & HWAP monthly production.
  • Maintain contact with all appropriate community groups, including ABCD’s APACs and NSCs, and city and state agencies.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all federal, state and utility income eligible guidelines, client demographic requirements and documentation.
  • Design, implement and monitor the integration of office tools used to electronically manage application tracking, administrative, internal and project documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate contractor procurement and manage the annual reviews of licenses, insurance and contracts according to guidelines.
  • Oversee contractor work processes and job assignments in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Expand contractor pool when needed.
  • Work with the Energy Department’s financial team to forward appropriate data for entry into permanent master file.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports across all funding sources including the yearly correlation of data to create the annual funding source reports.
  • Monitor systems for application tracking through the intake, incomplete, appeal and verification process.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and special events through the Fuel Assistance and Weatherization staff to maximize efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and report all client and vendor requests, issues, and concerns.
  • Maintain familiarity with all current state and federal guidelines for determining client eligibility
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and three to five years of relevant experience required.
  • Associate’s degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and implement state and federal guidelines for weatherization activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and background in office management required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Must have the ability to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
Expected Salary: $52,088.40 annually ($28.62/hour) USD. Salary scales are set according to an explicit compensation policy and relevant market data. Due to funding restrictions and our strong focus on internal parity, this salary is thoughtfully aligned with the duties expected for this role, and offers are firm.
