What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Action Floor Systems, LLC?
We are a local maple hardwood flooring manufacturing company looking to hire production line workers for our finish and rough end departments. Ideal candidates must have a driver’s license, be dependable and able to work regular 6 am to 2:30 pm shifts. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour.
Both positions consist of rotating jobs within each department.
Finish End Position:
- End Matching
- Grading
- Nesting
- Strapping (involves lifting up to 55 pounds)
Rough End Position:
- Edging thrower (removing scrap after cuts have been completed by the machinery)
- Eagle Scanner operator
- Matcher Feeder
- Rip Saw Operator
- Rip Sawyer
