Job Summary
The Site Lead/ Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of HVAC equipment. They will be assigned a variety of work tickets related to the maintenance of the facility including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. They will also assist and mentor the General Maintenance Worker located on-site with their daily tasks.
Pay Rate: $44.50 per hour total compensation. This will be a union position

Essential Job Functions
- Performs the maintenance, diagnostic testing, overhauling, installation, and effects repairs on a large variety of types of refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems equipment and control.
- Act as Site Lead to mentor and guide GMW with their assigned work tasks
- Analyze, plan, and perform preventative maintenance of HVAC systems throughout the facility.
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant plumbing, electrical, safety, and building codes.
- Ensure the proper working order of the major mechanical and electrical components of all facilities
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment
- Assemble and connect pipes and ducts used in piping refrigerants, steam, hot water, and warm or conditioned air
- Overhaul and repair pumps, compressors, controls, piping ducts, and other equipment used in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems
- Calibrate thermostats
- Repair and maintain a variety of refrigeration unit systems
- Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions
- Troubleshoot, repair, and make modifications to HVAC systems
- Adhere to all city, state, and federal regulatory statutes
- Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and Federal regulations
- Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment
- Properly maintain and safeguard assets
- Maintain safe chemical storage as deemed
- Attends all necessary training
- Perform other duties as assigned
