- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul powertrain components, including diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct complex repairs on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle alignment, and auto body components with precision.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively.
- Lead vehicle maintenance procedures on GM vehicles and other makes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, fostering skill development and teamwork within the service department.
Qualifications
- Proven automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and electronic troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with powertrain systems, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools required for complex repairs.
