Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Conduct wheel alignments and suspension adjustments to optimize vehicle handling and safety.
- Repair diesel engines, powertrain components, and perform welding or fabrication tasks as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive automotive service technician background.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Service technician experience working with GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Subaru vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
