In Home Caregiver Live-In

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to a wheelchair-bound client in the home. This is a LIVE-IN week-on-week-off position.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transferring safely within their home.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Center, Level II Trauma Center, Inpatient care, Hospital medicine, Medical-surgical practices, Geriatrics, PICU, Teaching hospitals, OR procedures, and Emergency medicine is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals accurately.
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications.
• Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties effectively.

Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per week
