Description
Conduct wetland delineations in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual and regional supplements. Prepare comprehensive wetland reports, including data sheets, maps, and photographic documentation. Navigate the permitting process for wetland impacts, including coordination with regulatory agencies. Provide expert guidance on wetland regulations and compliance strategies to clients and project teams. Maintain accurate records of fieldwork and project documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of wetland delineation and permitting Proficiency in identifying hydrophytic vegetation, hydric soils, and wetland hydrology indicators Experience with GIS mapping and data analysis is a plus Strong understanding of the Clean Water Act, Section 404/401 permitting, and state/local wetland regulations Be able to obtain or have a certification as a Certified Wetland Specialist (CWS) in Lake County, IL Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.87/hr.
