Description
My client is looking for a seasoned professional (10-15 Years) to oversee the planning and design of municipal water infrastructure projects. This position requires a strong technical bkgd in water treatment systems and proven experience in managing complex engineering initiatives from concept through completion. This position will be the Michigan Water Lead.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the design and implementation of municipal water facility projects.
- Develop technical reports, perform engineering analyses, and guide equipment selection and sizing.
- Prepare construction documentation and provide support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct site evaluations and field inspections as needed; occasional travel may be required.
- Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in water treatment facility design and planning; familiarity with wastewater and stormwater systems is advantageous.
- P.E. licensure
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
