Responsibilities
- Prepare design plans, construction specifications, and conduct studies for water/wastewater infrastructure construction.
- Research state and local design standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and clients’ engineering staff.
- Assist in QA/QC design reviews.
- Support Project Managers with various engineering projects.
- Design gravity sewer hydraulics, pump stations, and force mains.
- Perform headloss calculations and develop hydraulic grade lines.
- Size wet wells and consider surge and transient effects.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in wastewater engineering and water resource engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to create P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with equipment layout.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in wastewater/water resource engineering.
- Experience in designing site plans, specifically gravity sewer hydraulics and pump stations.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsborough, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.
