Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Wash and Sterilization Technicians at a Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility. In response to increased market demand, we have introduced a new product line and require enthusiastic individuals to support this expansion. As a Wash and Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in loading materials, completing batch records, logging entries, documenting work orders, conducting process checks for quality assurance, and managing batch packaging records. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for those eager to enter the pharmaceutical industry, with backgrounds ranging from child care to automotive. We value individuals who are tech-savvy, critical thinkers, and open to suggesting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and complete electronic batch records for all processes.
• Maintain log book entries and document work orders accurately.
• Conduct process checks to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage batch packaging records for materials loaded and produced.
• Report and propose solutions for recurring issues on the production line.
• Communicate effectively and provide suggestions for process improvements.

Essential Skills

• Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Technical proficiency with electronic documentation.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Motivation to work in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or previous manufacturing experience (GMP).

• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, medical device, or cosmetic industries.
• Bioworks or Associates in Biotechnology is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with a night shift and 2-2-3 schedule. Initially, training will occur during the day shift from Monday to Friday, after which the transition to night shift will occur. The environment may be demanding due to the current workload, but new hires will be supported and appreciated by their team. Scrubs and closed-toed shoes/work boots are provided; employees are required to change into work attire in the provided locker room.

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.

The pay range for this position is $29.09 - $29.09/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clayton,NC.
