We are hiring for a Gene Therapy Laboratory Assistant here in the Columbus, Ohio area! Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience working in a GMP regulated environment with a Bachelors in a Science, or at least 3 years of GMP experience and an Associates' Degree.
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday
Job Description
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of all materials arriving at our state-of-the-art gene therapy manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for evaluating raw materials and ensuring that they match regulations and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all incoming raw materials for integrity and quality.
- Match raw material orders to Certificates of Analysis to ensure all information matches (i.e. it's the right color, quantity, etc.)
- Conduct basic tests/inspections on incoming raw materials for identity, purity, potency, and microbial contamination.
- Communicate with departments to ensure operations have all required inspected materials.
- Will perform some raw material sampling.
- Document all necessary activities.
- Must be comfortable gowning up/wearing PPE in a cleanroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and at least 1 years of experience in a GMP regulated environment.
OR
- Associate's degree in a scientific field and at least 3 years of experience in a GMP regulated environment.
This is a Contract position based out of Grove City, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
