Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated professional Project Manager in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture, specializing in all facets of Site Development. This role offers the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. You will lead a multi-discipline and highly interactive team of engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and technicians. Collaborate with developers, planners, builders, and local review agencies to provide dynamic design solutions for site development projects, primarily focused in the retail space such as gas stations and restaurants. Oversee all phases of design and construction activities to develop efficient, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Develop, review, and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Oversee preparation of project documentation, such as cost estimates, contracts, technical reports, and progress reports.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones, and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and construction professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience within civil project management, with retail site development experience preferred
- Experience overseeing cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and construction professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Retail site development experience preferred but not required
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred but not required
Work Environment
This role is mainly in-office with flexibility when needed. Occasional local site visits are required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
