UI Developer

As a UI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern user interfaces for desktop-based and/or embedded software applications. You will translate user requirements, workflows, and system specifications into intuitive UI designs and implementations, collaborating closely with backend and systems engineers to integrate UI components with core application logic.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern user interfaces for software applications.
• Translate user requirements and system specifications into intuitive UI designs.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate UI components with core logic.
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistency across applications.
• Participate in code reviews to improve UI architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related defects and performance issues.
• Work with product and engineering teams to enhance usability and user experience.
• Support validation and testing activities to ensure software quality and compliance.
• Modify existing software to add functionality, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or enhance usability.
• Engage in all aspects of development, from detailed programming to high-level system design.

• Development experience in web-based UIs and C#.
• Familiarity with React.js, Visual Studio, and Azure.
• Proficiency in Python is a plus.
• BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile development methodologies.
• Comfortable working in a SCRUM-based development team.

• RF knowledge is a plus.
• Critical view on details and workflow operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
