Transmission Line Engineer (Overhead)
100% Remote | Nationwide
Design the Power Grid of the Future—Without Giving Up Flexibility
We are seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering team supporting major U.S. utilities. This role focuses entirely on overhead transmission line and structural design and offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact infrastructure projects—fully remote, from anywhere in the country.
Due to a strong and expanding backlog of work, this team continues to grow and is looking for engineers who are curious, collaborative, and excited to deepen their technical expertise while contributing to critical power infrastructure.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- 100% Remote Work – Live and work anywhere in the U.S.
- Long-Term Project Stability – Strong backlog across multiple large utilities
- Work That Matters – Support grid modernization and expansion nationwide
- Career Growth & Mentorship – Clear paths for technical development and leadership
- No Project Gaps – Ongoing demand means consistent, meaningful work
- Collaborative, Engineer‑Led Culture – Curiosity and questions are encouraged
This is not a single‑project hire—this role supports sustained organizational growth driven by utility demand.

- Apply advanced engineering judgment to develop, analyze, and optimize designs
- Identify and resolve complex technical and design challenges
- Prepare and self‑check calculations, reports, and design deliverables
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical review and QA/QC support
- Assist with proposal development and client or regulatory presentations as needed
What We’re Looking For

What Makes a Great Fit
- Naturally curious engineers who ask thoughtful questions
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Comfort working on complex, large‑scale infrastructure projects
- Team players who enjoy sharing knowledge and collaborating remotely
Work Environment
- Fully remote on a day‑to‑day basis
