Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Engineer to provide engineering design services for transportation-related projects. You will independently perform engineering assignments, calculations, and tasks, while assisting in updates to drawings and plans using CADD software. Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality design services and work closely with Project Managers to obtain necessary approvals from DOTs, municipalities, and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans for transportation-related projects.
- Perform engineering assignments, calculations, and tasks independently.
- Assist in updating drawings and plans using CADD software.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure quality design services for transportation projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to secure approvals from DOTs, municipalities, and agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- 5-15 years of experience in the field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Passed Fundamentals Exam (FE) or the ability to achieve certification.
- Proficiency in CADD software (MicroStation and OpenRoads (ORD) programs preferred).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge in civil engineering, highway design, traffic studies, and analysis.
- Experience with software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Competence in traffic engineering and transportation design.

This role involves working in both office and field environments. You will be part of a dynamic team, utilizing advanced technologies and software to deliver exceptional transportation design services. The position requires adaptability to a fast-paced work setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
