Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with the ability to guide teams through the entire product development life cycle.

• Create project schedules by identifying critical paths, task ownership, and resource conflicts.
• Analyze plans and collaborate with teams to expedite or parallel path activities to speed time to delivery.
• Identify and communicate key issues or risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
• Provide status updates to key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Track metrics data against KPIs and report status.
• Adhere to project management and quality management standards, software, hardware, and product development processes.
• Work with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to influence product design for assembly and manufacturability.
• Perform PFMEAs with cross-functional teams.
• Plan for future capacity and design assembly lines for new products.
• Present process design reviews to leadership.
• Collect and analyze data using SPC and utilize design for six sigma methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Leadership abilities to manage large, dispersed teams with diverse skillsets.
• Experience with the full Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) from infancy to production launch and maintenance.
• Proficiency in common project management tasks, including schedule creation/tracking (Gantt charts), budget tracking, and risk management.
• Ability to evaluate project team capabilities and assign tasks accordingly.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally to internal and external management and technical teams.

• Experience with software product-based cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
• PMP certification is preferred.

This position offers a hybrid work environment in Windsor, CO, with a requirement to be onsite 2-3 times per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, CO.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Windsor,CO.
