Systems Integration & Test Engineer
Join a high‑impact engineering team responsible for integrating, testing, and validating complex systems that combine in‑house–developed technologies with COTS/GOTS components. In this role, you’ll transform customer requirements into complete system‑level test solutions while working across hardware, software, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
You’ll be hands‑on with everything from defining technical specifications to developing automated test solutions, reviewing system requirements for testability, and ensuring subsystem and system‑level performance meets mission needs. What You’ll Do
- Plan, implement, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for systems, subsystems, and components.
- Translate customer and contractual requirements into comprehensive test strategies that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Establish functional and technical specifications; solve hardware/software interface issues; define system inputs/outputs; and ensure end-to-end integration.
- Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for full system and subsystem validation.
- Coordinate test events across programs and engineering teams.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and verify/validate system performance.
- Document discrepancies, track issues, and perform regression testing to ensure implemented fixes are successful.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of experience creating reports, project plans, and work instructions using Microsoft Office
- 5 years of experience developing, editing, and supporting software using LabVIEW
- 3 years of experience developing and supporting software using TestStand
- 3 years of problem analysis and resolution experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience collaborating effectively within teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Experience leading teams to achieve technical milestones
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 years of professional engineering or test experience
- Expertise in measuring electrical parameters for components and subassemblies
- 5 years as an SME in RF or microwave systems
- 3 years building complex test programs in TestStand
- Experience researching and specifying components for test equipment design
- Strong troubleshooting ability across instruments, fixtures, software, and units under test
- Ability to generate assembly sketches, block diagrams, parts lists, and technical documentation
- Experience with corrective/preventative action processes
- Strong capability in deriving test requirements from system or design specifications
- Ability to identify/document required corrections between drawings and actual hardware
- Demonstrated success working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong relationship‑building skills across organizations
- Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations and trade studies

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $79.00/hr.
