Survey CAD Technician - Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Survey CAD Technician to process survey field data and convert it into accurate office drafting. This role involves developing 3D models of subsurface utilities, grading, and infrastructure, as well as performing clash detection to identify potential conflicts before construction begins.

Responsibilities

• Process survey field data and convert it into accurate office drafting.
• Develop 3D models of subsurface utilities, grading, and infrastructure.
• Build theoretical models from design plans and compare them against as-built field data.
• Perform clash detection to identify conflicts before construction issues occur.
• Review plans for constructability, ADA compliance, and utility conflicts.
• Prepare and maintain final as-built models and drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to resolve discrepancies before work is executed in the field.

This is a Contract position based out of Somerville, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $37.01 - $40.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Somerville,NJ.
