Job Description

Join a dynamic civil engineering consulting firm as a Survey CAD Technician at our north end office. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in CAD drafting for survey scopes and a preference for hands-on land survey experience, particularly in topographic mapping.

Responsibilities

• Support CAD drafting for survey scope projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D for land surveying and drafting tasks.
• Engage in topographic surveys and mapping.
• Collaborate effectively with a long-tenured and cohesive team.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Survey CAD drafting.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and boundary survey software.
• Experience in topographic surveys and construction staking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with land development and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with Trimble and/or Carlson survey software.
• Experience in layout mapping is preferred.

Work primarily at the Lynnwood office with the potential to work from Federal Way. Our team operates under a laid-back management philosophy that trusts employees to manage their schedules effectively without micromanagement. We offer a supportive and collegial team environment, with scheduling and dispatching provided well in advance to facilitate flexible office attendance. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynnwood, WA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
