Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Survey CAD Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to execute and oversee various project tasks using advanced technologies. Your expertise in Civil 3D, combined with your analytical skills, will be crucial in ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform volume calculations and prepare cut-sheets.
- Utilize Civil 3D for grading, utilities layouts, slope analysis, point groups, alignments, and surfaces.
- Support field crews by setting up project documents, site layouts, and data for job locations.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to run and manage projects effectively.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients to discuss project timelines and updates.
- Conduct calculations for tasks such as curb layout, as-builts, and existing conditions using Civil 3D.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Assist with procurement and budgeting processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain project documentation.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in construction survey or civil design.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, specifically working on point groups, alignments, and surfaces.
- Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and slope analysis.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
