Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Renovations
Job Description
This role oversees interior renovation projects of approximately $2 million in value in the Cleveland, OH area. The Superintendent leads field operations, coordinates trades, and ensures projects progress safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. The position is a 12‑month contract-to-hire opportunity with ongoing work across multiple renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations for interior renovation projects around $2 million in value.
- Manage multiple projects sequentially, transitioning from one project to another approximately every 3–4 months.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively address issues to maintain timelines and quality standards.
- Enforce site safety practices and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site walks to verify workmanship, identify potential problems, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Communicate frequently with project stakeholders to provide updates on schedule, progress, and site conditions.
- Review plans and drawings to ensure accurate execution of interior renovation scopes.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections.
Essential Skills
- At least 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role on interior renovation projects.
- Hands-on interior renovation experience, particularly on projects around $2 million in value.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects in sequence and adapt quickly when moving between sites every 3–4 months.
- Effective coordination and supervision skills for subcontractors and field crews.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and interior renovation processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact with project teams and stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite and adherence to safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory field role is a plus.
- Experience in commercial or large-scale interior renovation work is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a general contractor environment.
Work Environment
The role is based in the Cleveland, OH area and involves working on-site at interior renovation projects. The Superintendent will move from project to project approximately every 3–4 months, providing exposure to a variety of renovation scopes and site conditions. The work environment emphasizes a team-oriented, family-like culture, where collaboration, support, and strong communication are highly valued. Work is primarily performed on active construction sites, requiring appropriate field attire and adherence to all safety practices and procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $54.00/hr.
