Job Title: Assistant Superintendent Job Description

As a Assistant Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. You will create and manage project timelines, supervise construction processes, and ensure compliance with specifications and OSHA standards. Your role will also involve quality control and using technical software to facilitate project management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Create and manage project timelines, coordinating with various teams for timely completion.
• Supervise construction processes, materials, and methods to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for a safe work environment.
• Monitor construction work to ensure it meets required standards and specifications.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM, and MS Project for project management and documentation.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction management, supervision, and ground-up construction.
• Proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM, and MS Project.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Experience with vendor and subcontractor management.

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.00/hr.
