Superintendent Of Construction

As a Superintendent of Construction, you will plan, execute, and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and budget constraints. You will play a crucial role in scheduling, construction management, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Create and manage project timelines, coordinating with various teams for timely completion.
• Supervise construction processes, materials, and methods to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor construction work to ensure it meets required standards and specifications.
• Utilize technical software such as AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and MS Project for project management and documentation.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

• Experience as a Superintendent in Construction, particularly in Ground Up Construction.
• Knowledge of Underground Utilities.
• Proficient in using Procore.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to lead and motivate construction teams to achieve project goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of the construction process.
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to make informed decisions that positively impact the project.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belleview, FL.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
