Job Description

We are seeking a Substation QC Construction Manager to oversee a substantial project for a data center located in Louisiana. This multi-year project offers a unique opportunity to lead the construction of a substation, with potential involvement in additional projects spanning up to five years.

Responsibilities

• Drive subcontractor performance and oversee construction activities.
• Lead subcontractor crews in building a substation, ensuring overall production and quality.
• Manage a team of up to 25 individuals, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedule.
• Ensure construction subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders through standardized reporting and meetings.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in Substation Construction Management.
• Experience in Distribution Construction Management.
• Strong computer and reporting skills.

Work Environment

This role will be in the field, coordinating the efforts of subcontractor crews. The expected work schedule includes 10-hour workdays for 5 days a week, totaling a 50 hour workweek. The project is slated to last over two years, with potential increases in work hours. Standard per diem is provided along with time and a half for overtime. Holidays and PTO are offered. The project site offers a growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities, providing viable future project opportunities.

This is a Contract position based out of Shreveport, LA.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shreveport,LA.
