Structural Inspector

Help safeguard critical buildings and infrastructure across New York City and the I‑95 corridor.

We’re looking for a meticulous, technically skilled Structural Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate the condition of buildings and parking structures, develop accurate assessment reports, support the design of structural repairs, and oversee construction activities to ensure work meets rigorous engineering and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural inspections of existing buildings and parking facilities
• Conduct comprehensive condition assessments, identifying material deterioration, structural deficiencies, and code-related issues
• Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and technical documentation
• Assist engineers in designing repair, rehabilitation, and restoration solutions
• Observe construction activities to verify compliance with design documents and accepted engineering practices
• Support the preparation of bid packages and assist with contractor selection
• Coordinate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to maintain project momentum
• Provide inspection and construction support across NYC and the greater I‑95 corridor

What You Bring

• Degree or professional background in structural engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline
• Experience performing inspections of buildings and/or parking structures
• Strong ability to evaluate structural conditions and identify defects
• Excellent technical writing skills, including experience producing professional engineering reports
• background in structural repair or rehabilitation design (preferred, not required)
• Familiarity with construction administration and reviewing work during active construction
• Experience preparing or supporting bid documentation
• Comfort working on active construction sites and engaging with field personnel
• Strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment

This is a field-centered role involving regular site visits to active construction projects and existing structures. You’ll work closely with contractors, owners, and engineering staff to help drive projects to completion. Expect a fast‑paced environment with diverse project types throughout the I‑95 corridor and NYC, offering excellent opportunities for technical development and career growth.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bronx, NY.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bronx,NY.
