Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate project engineering with subcontracted design firms, modify CAD and REVIT drawings, and check engineering design calculations and details for accuracy. You will also develop engineering skills to support internal and field remedial efforts, resolve design issues, participate in project meetings, and engage in development and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform project engineering coordination with subcontracted design firms.
• Modify CAD and REVIT drawings for accuracy and adherence to engineering standards.
• Develop engineering skills to support internal and field remedial efforts aligned with business objectives.
• Resolve design issues from drafting subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
• Engage in training opportunities to apply technical knowledge to projects.
• Act as a liaison to support company project efforts.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering field.
• Credit hours in Structural Analysis and Reinforced Concrete Design are highly valued.
• Ability to obtain Engineer in Training (EIT) certification within one year of hire.
• 2 years of experience in pre-cast concrete design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, SAP2000, and RAM Structural software.
• Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP 2000, RISA, or RAM.
• Proven ability to learn and apply software platforms to optimize workflow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
