Job Title: Transportation Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated structural engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in transportation planning, traffic analysis, and engineering design, focusing on urban environments and multi-modal transportation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-impact transportation projects that directly contribute to the development and improvement of NYC's transportation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and prepare design analyses on concrete foundations, steel towers, bridges, hanger systems, and other structural elements of a construction project.
• Prepare design computations, plans, and related construction documents.
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates.
• Prepare reports, studies, and permits for a variety of projects.
• Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with design and production standards.

Essential Skills

• 4 years experience as a structural engineer working on bridges and transportation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with roadway design, MicroStation, and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in structural design, structural analysis, and transportation engineering.
• EIT certification is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in land development, stormwater management, site development, grading, drainage, and site planning.

Work Environment

This is a minority-owned business that offers a hybrid office schedule with 2-3 days in the office. Our team works from 9 AM to 5 PM in a business casual environment. This role is 100 percent production-oriented and provides core services of design engineering, construction inspection, and program management to public and private organizations throughout the Midwest and Northeast. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
