Job Description

The Safety Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting construction field operations by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. This position is a key partner to project teams, focusing on proactively identifying hazards, promoting safe work practices, and delivering training programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits.
• Monitor PPE compliance and enforce safety protocols.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver OSHA-based training programs.
• Investigate incidents and document findings.
• Maintain safety records and reporting documentation.
• Collaborate with management and field teams.
• Serve as liaison with OSHA and safety agencies.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management or related construction field experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Knowledge of electrical construction (NFPA 70E preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Experience in safety program development.
• Understanding of risk mitigation and incident investigation processes.
• Proficiency in safety training and compliance management.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, DE.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Newark,DE.
