Sterile Processing Tech (CRCST)

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician with experience in Scope Processing using Medivator AER and Olympus OER. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and assembly of specialized instruments and equipment.

• Perform sterile processing duties in accordance with lead technicians' guidance.
• Reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment, including washing, preparing for sterilization, and sterilizing trays and instruments.
• Operate specialized washers and sterilizers following designated procedures.
• Maintain instruments to ensure high performance during surgical procedures.
• Inspect and test the performance of specialized instruments and equipment.
• Lubricate items in line with designated cleaning and instrument preparation instructions.
• Document required information and maintain necessary records.
• Set up case carts for surgical procedures and ensure correct inventory.
• Restock equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment used for job functions, seeking assistance as needed.
• Report hazardous conditions, malfunctioning equipment, and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and meetings as assigned.
• Engage in training, educational activities, and staff meetings.
• Assist with the orientation and training of other personnel.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Central Service Technician Certification (CRCST).
• 5 years of experience in neuro, ortho, and robotics (preferred).
• Ability to work rotating weekends.
• AHA BLS certification.

This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (14:30 - 23:00). The role requires working every other weekend. The technician will work with a diverse team of 15 people across both shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Murrieta, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Murrieta,CA.
