Job Description
Join a dynamic team of engineers and technicians to contribute to innovative civil engineering projects. You will play a key role in performing designs, evaluations, preparation of calculations and drawings, and cost estimates. This role involves conducting site inspections and investigations, preparing standard documents such as technical specifications per applicable design codes, and researching and reviewing design options for both technical and financial impact. You will also prepare engineering reports and other technical documents.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a team of engineers and technicians.
- Perform designs, evaluations, and prepare calculations and drawings.
- Conduct site inspections and investigations as needed.
- Prepare standard documents such as technical specifications in compliance with design codes.
- Research and review design options for technical and financial impacts.
- Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents.
- Support the design of the 2nd Avenue subway project.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6-9 years of related experience in Civil Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
- Experience with Stormwater Management, Site Layouts, Grading, Drainage, Utility Design, Sediment and Erosion Control.
- Experience with Engineering Calculations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hydrocad and stormwater systems.
- EIT certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $66.00/hr.
