What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spatial Designer position at Actalent?
Seeking a Space Planner for a large corporation that will work on restaurant projects!
Responsibilities:
- Will participate in remodels as well as new construction restaurant projects
- Will analyze both customer and employee traffic flow in order to increase efficiency of space utilization and improve design
- Participate in equipment placement and rearrangement
- Will redline and update floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Review shop drawings and communicate with vendors/suppliers
- Adhere to ADA guidelines for restaurant design
- Will work on architectural detailing and space planning
- Will be placing kitchen, plumbing, utility equipment, and order stations throughout the restaurant
Desired Skills:
- Experience producing construction documents, elevations, sections, details in AutoCAD
- Experience marking up/red lining drawings
- Any commercial, retail or restaurant project experience is a bonus
- Kitchen design experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, any Bluebeam experience is a plus
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
