A leading electronics and communications services organization is seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity. This role focuses on component‑level repair, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards and communication devices, including RF‑based systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong soldering expertise, RF acumen, and hands‑on experience repairing power supplies in a production or repair environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform component‑level soldering and desoldering repairs on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic units.
- Diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies at the component level.
- Repair and support power supply units and related electronic components.
- Work with RF systems, including radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.
- Use soldering equipment, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve defects.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
- Accurately document repair activities using basic computer systems and data entry tools.
- Work with heavy electronic equipment (50 lbs.). Lifting is not required, but candidates must be comfortable maneuvering equipment (e.g., sliding units on conveyor systems).
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership in English. All training and documentation are conducted in English.
Required Qualifications
- Electronics certification or equivalent technical training.
- Successful completion of a technical aptitude assessment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electronics Repair Technician or equivalent role.
- Proven experience repairing power supplies.
- Strong proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques.
- Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit theory.
- Experience using multimeters and basic diagnostic equipment.
- RF (radio frequency) experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with standard office applications and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC certification (or equivalent).
- Experience using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Previous experience repairing telecommunications or RF equipment, including Ericsson products.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
