SIPS Specialist II

This position is dedicated to supporting the Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team by managing and maintaining a supplier master database comprising over 50,000 suppliers. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

• Analyze, research, and process requests to add, change, or inactivate suppliers systemwide following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive information in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment.
• Interact with both internal and external customers while adhering to compliance, auditing controls, and regulatory guidelines.
• Adapt to changing responsibilities to meet the needs of the team.

• 5-10 years’ related work experience
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong time management abilities
• Problem-solving skills

• Experience in data entry and processing large data sets
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter

The role is based in an office setting at APC Corporate HQ, requiring an 8-hour workday. The work environment is fast-paced, and the candidate must be flexible to accommodate changes in responsibilities.

This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
