Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / MEP)

Compensation: $125,000–$160,000 base paid overtime bonus potential

A confidential, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help lead the design and delivery of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical design and project leadership—someone who can guide projects, collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams, and serve as a technical lead within a dynamic mechanical group.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design and project execution of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for complex building projects.
• Work directly with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver coordinated designs.
• Serve as a technical lead while helping drive schedules, deliverables, and overall project quality.
• Use tools such as Revit and AutoCAD, with opportunities to contribute to energy modeling efforts where applicable.

What you bring

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in mechanical / MEP building systems design.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading interdisciplinary projects or project teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes.
• Familiarity with both HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Experience with energy modeling software such as EnergyPro.
• Project management experience and/or certifications.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
