Senior Manager, Clinical Sciences

The Senior Manager, Clinical Sciences is responsible for providing scientific input to R&D and clinical strategies to ensure the successful translation of development plans into operational deliverables. This role involves contributing to the scientific content of clinical program documents, including Study Protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, Clinical Study Reports, Regulatory Submission Documents, and Scientific Material and Publications. The position primarily supports the NMIBC or LMs program.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical science input for assigned clinical studies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Data Management, CROs, Medical Writing, Statisticians, Medical Director-Clinical Development, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Ensure key data elements are captured consistently and correctly by liaising with Data Management.
• Provide scientific input into clinical data reviews, clinical presentations, and integration of analyses into clinical documents.
• Contribute to the clinical review and input during study start-up and study conduct in collaboration with the clinical sub-team.
• Review medical literature and scientific material including publications, conference abstracts, posters, and research databases to provide relevant disease state and compound knowledge.
• Provide scientific input for the development of clinical study designs, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Author and review scientific content for clinical documents including study synopses, protocols, protocol amendments, and Clinical Study Reports.
• Develop scientific documents including conference abstracts and manuscripts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the clinical/scientific components of regulatory dossiers and meeting materials.
• Support cross-functional activities including Program Management, Publications, Medical Affairs, Commercial Development, and Business Development.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in a highly scientific environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry for the Manager role.
• 1-3 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry for the Manager role.
• Experience in developing clinical protocols, clinical study conduct, and/or review of clinical data.
• Familiarity with the drug development process and ICH/GCP.
• Understanding of statistical methodology and interpretation of clinical data.
• Advanced Degree in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline required; doctorate degree (Ph.D.) preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical/regulatory writing and submission of regulatory documents is preferred.
• Experience in oncology or rare disease is preferred

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $143000.00 - $148000.00/yr.
