Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of power distribution equipment and mentor junior engineers. This role will focus on complex electrical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects for low-voltage equipment.
• Develop electrical systems and control schemes.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and other relevant standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in power distribution equipment design.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, UL, and NEMA standards.
• Experience with power system analysis software.
• Team leadership experience.
• Excellent project management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AutoCAD Electrical experience.
• Experience in custom engineering of protection and control systems.

Work Environment

The facility is large and currently under construction for the next 5-6 weeks. The standard working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. The company offers good benefits and unlimited PTO.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, MD.

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Therefore, we offer an unlimited PTO policy that allows you to take the time off without a fixed number of days. We trust our employees to request time off through the proper system with a minimum of two (2) weeks prior notice, manage their time responsibly, coordinate with their teams, and prioritize business needs. Maximum consecutive days an employee shall be out on PTO/holidays shall not exceed 10 or two calendar weeks (includes weekends).

This is a fully onsite position in Hanover,MD.
