We are seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) execution across active industrial and construction projects. This role involves partnering closely with project managers, field leaders, and peer EHS professionals to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and advance a strong safety culture in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the execution of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) across industrial and construction projects.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and reduce risks associated with construction activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, field leaders, and peer EHS professionals to promote a strong safety culture.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- 5 years of commercial construction experience.
- Proficiency in safety management and construction safety.
- Experience with OSHA safety procedures and standards.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- OSHA 500 Certification.
This role requires working onsite in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing team. The work involves hands-on engagement in industrial and construction settings, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
