Job Description
- This entry-level Revit Drafter role focuses on producing high-quality drawings and renderings for multifamily and affordable housing projects in Buffalo.
- The position is strictly production-oriented and offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to gain professional experience and build a strong foundation in architectural drafting and design.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings for multifamily and affordable housing projects using Revit.
- Support the creation and modification of construction documents in coordination with project requirements.
- Draft and update plans, elevations, sections, and details in Revit and AutoCAD as directed.
- Create and refine 3D models and visualizations to support design and presentation needs.
- Use Lumion to generate renderings that clearly communicate design intent.
- Follow established drafting standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with project team members by incorporating feedback and revisions into drawings and models.
- Manage and organize digital drawing files to maintain clear and accessible project documentation.
- Focus primarily on two key affordable housing projects, meeting production deadlines and quality expectations.
- Support the team with general CAD and design tasks as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit for drafting and production of architectural drawings.
- Ability to draft and edit drawings in AutoCAD.
- Experience using Lumion to produce architectural renderings.
- Foundational knowledge of architecture and building design concepts.
- Ability to prepare and modify construction documents.
- Strong CAD skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a production-focused environment.
- Basic understanding of design and documentation for multifamily or housing projects is beneficial.
- Recently completed or near-completion of relevant architectural, drafting, or design education is strongly preferred.

- Exposure to multifamily or affordable housing projects through school or internships.

Work Environment
- This is an office-based role in a professional architectural setting, working on multifamily and affordable housing projects in Buffalo.
- The position is strictly production-focused, with day-to-day work centered on Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, and other CAD and design tools to produce drawings, construction documents, and renderings.
- The role initially supports a six-month need with the potential for extension based on performance, providing a structured environment for a new graduate to gain meaningful experience and grow professionally.
This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
