Responsibilities
- Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information from design basis documents, senior and project designers, users, other consultants, field surveys, and code research.
- Develop Revit Families and coordinate building systems spatial requirements and design.
- Participate in projects involving technology/low voltage electrical systems infrastructure.
- Learn and apply knowledge of NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards.
- Work with Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies, Physical Security Systems, and Audio Visual Systems.
- Participate in Information Technology Network infrastructure projects, including switches, servers, and wireless networks.
Essential Skills
- 1 years of experience or training in building systems design related to technology/low voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP or AutoCAD.
- Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-6 years of Revit experience.
- Experience with Electrical and/or Building Technology Systems infrastructure.
- Knowledge of NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Physical Security Systems and Audio Visual Systems.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Information Technology Network infrastructure.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work individually and within team environments.
- Proven punctuality and attention to detail.
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to new information.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
