Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team, focusing on commercial architecture projects. This role involves drafting construction drawings using Revit and coordinating project activities with clients, engineering trades, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Draft construction drawings for commercial architecture projects using Revit.
- Coordinate all project activities, including communication with clients, engineering trades, and internal staff members.
- Ensure project deliverables are met.
- Participate in all phases of projects.
- Travel occasionally for site visits.
Essential Skills
- Full proficiency with Revit.
- 2 years of experience within architecture.
- Bachelor of Architecture or higher is required.
- Ability to produce construction drawings for commercial clients, ideally with experience in supermarkets or big box retail such as Walmart or Target.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in commercial architecture is essential, with a focus on supermarkets and big box stores.
- Capability to produce full construction drawing sets within a team setting.
- Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) or higher required.
- Licensure track is advantageous.
Work Environment
Our main office is located in Kearny, NJ, with a team of about 20 employees. The firm specializes in commercial projects, working with high-profile clients like Walmart and CVS. We handle up to 50 projects at a time, primarily in commercial/retail/supermarkets/big box stores. The firm is transitioning away from residential work due to the high demand for commercial projects. We offer remote work options, allowing candidates to be based anywhere in the United States. This is a remote contract to Hire position based out of Kearny, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.26/hr.
