Regulatory Specialist

The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance across manufacturing facilities, co-manufacturers, and corporate operations. This role ensures that regulatory policies, systems, product labels, and customer documentation meet applicable food industry regulations and standards.

• Maintain and support regulatory and quality systems, including document control and specification management.
• Manage customer regulatory requests related to Halal, GMO, Vegan, nutrition information, label claims, and certifications.
• Review product labels and packaging content to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support export activities, including country suitability reviews, ingredient breakdowns, and export documentation.
• Develop and maintain regulatory documentation required by customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and assess impacts on products, processes, and documentation.
• Utilize internal systems such as Genesis, SAP Spec Management, Wrike, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and support business needs, including occasional overtime or weekend work.

• Expertise in regulatory, regulatory documents, and compliance regulations.
• Experience with document control in food manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in food industry regulatory (e.g., food regulations & labeling), Quality, or R&D with significant regulatory exposure; dairy preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft 365, including charts/graphs/PowerPoint.
• Proficiency across multiple databases/software.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and their impacts.

• Experience with SAP Spec Management, Genesis, Wrike, and SharePoint.
• Better Process Control School (BPCS) certification (preferred, not required).

The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule during the 1st shift, located at the Corporate office in New Holland. A hybrid work model is possible after the initial training period, allowing 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Holland, PA.

The pay range for this position is $82000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
